I need a car ASAP can anyone tell me which makes are the most feul efficent?
Nissan Versa is a very cheap, stylish and fuel efficient car. 37 mpg highway i believe. About the same as a SmartCar, but not a 2-seater and not ugly!





If you live in a major urban area, you might want to get a hybrid. If you don't live in an area where you might be caught in rush hour, I wouldn't suggest spending the extra money on a hybrid, as the difference in fuel efficiency won't be as much.

The best value is a diesel in a small car. Look to see what Volkswagen is offering now. I know Honda will introduce their Diesel Accord (from Europe) in the US in 2009, so wait if you can.

Avoid Hybrid cars. over priced to start, eventual issues with the batteries and not all that much better mileage.
