GSR motor swap into 99 honda civic?

Hi i was wondering what exactly would i need to swap a Auto GSR engine, into a 99 honda civic ex. and would it work with a EX transmission. Like what parts exactly would i need to do the swap, like throttle injectors, and all, or do i just need a complete head assembly?

Thanks in Advance!

you can use your stock civic wiring harness. you will need the mounts from a 94-01 integra to make it fit. you cannot use your 99 ex trans, as it will not bolt up to the GSR.

the only piece from your ex you will need is the wiring harness. everything else will be from the gsr swap (injectors, throttle, etc.)

As said, you will need to have the civic wiring harness re-wired. You will need new mounts, ecu, and axles.

Realistically, you won't be using the auto trans unless you can make an adapter plate like they use for the H2b swaps.

Regardless, automatic transmissions are terrible, they take more power away from the motor than a manual trans would.

They did make automatic GSR transmissions (sir-g automatic transmissions are very hard to find), but only in Japan. If you are dead-set on keeping it an automatic, you should use an Integra ls auto trans, and use and ls auto ecu with the knock sensor and vtec solenoid wired in.
Reply:just another idea if not the ls ecu with the knock sensor and vtec hooked up u can us a auto prelude vtec ecu make sure you get 96 and up for your 99 but auto trans is not the way to go for racing unless you really want to spend the $$
