Are 1994-1999 Honda Passports as reliable as 1994-1999 Honda CRVs?

I know CRVs get better gas mileage but I need more leg room. What is the scoop on Passports? Are they reliable or does CRV hold the medal on that one.
Are 1994-1999 Honda Passports as reliable as 1994-1999 Honda CRVs?
No. The Honda Passport is not completely made by Honda. And they have been known to get more problems.

Honda and GM worked together to make the Honda Passport and Isuzu Rodeo.

The Honda CR-V is much more reliable.

The passport is not a Honda it is an Isuzu.

Complete junk.
Reply:The CR-V and Passport are not in the same league. The Passport/Rodeo is junk in comparison.
Reply:all they did was put an H on the grill of a rodeo and call it a passport. the crv started in 96 and is civic based.
Reply:the passport was manmufactured by isuzu, not honda, honda had a need for an suv as the suv market bloomed but had no plans to release one for about 2 years, the trade off was isuzu needed a minivan so honda traded the odyssey for the passport and people who have bought passports have felt ripped ever since. passports are more mechanically prone to breakdowns and numerous electrical problems, the crv has been one of hondas best vehicles in terms of care and maintenance since its inception in 1996
