Everytime my gas tank gets to be about half full it usually reads between the half and 1/4 left. It bounces up and down and doesn't seem to give me an accurate reading in order to figure out how much gas I actually have. Does anyone know what may cause this?
I am having problems with the gas meter in my 99 Honda Civic EX.?
Its the same with my 2000 civic Ex. Its normal, Its because of the bouncing or moving that the gas move along too and the sensor is picking up the difference. Once you stop and level out it will tell you the right amount you have.
