Opel Zafira - What does the symbol with the car and the spanner going through it mean?

It lite up and I cannot seem to find the problem, do you know what it means?

Probably "NEEDS SERVICE" or "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" or something like that.


I wish that they (everyone who uses them) would lose the stupid symbols and just put print in their place. It can't be rocket science to have a template in that spot that says "Needs Service Soon" or something like that.

get the car serviced would be my guess, if you cant afford that maybe get someone to show you how to check the oil and water levels., but the symbol you describe may not go away until the car has been to the garage and the mechanic makes the light go away.
Reply:That mean you need service.when the symbol appears you have to check your car engine. you have to go to authorized opel service center.
