How to get better acceleration on a 99 dodge intrepid base? 2.7L V6?

first you need to do a really good tune up on it,those was peppy little engines,when tuned right they ran real good,run a real good set of plugs in it,and add a k%26amp;n air filter to it that will help on acceleration a lot,it will actually give you a small amount of power from using one of those,other than that the only thing you can do is change the exhuast on it,theres not many performance parts available for the 2.7 ,good luck
