When you are walking along and you dont see a kerb and you foot hits it and you fall over , That is tripping !

In drug terms it can mean when someone is high and hallucinates, seeing things that are not really there. The hallucinations are usually quite surreal and strange so people say they are "tripping out"

When you take a certain drug and get a reaction it is a high but if you start seeing little green men, giant flowers coming out of the nice wall paper or getting paranoid it is said you are tripping out etc





Tripping makes you fall when you stumble over a lose piece of slab.
