Reply:You asked 2 different questions. If you just want a little oomph, you can do all the bolt ons like header, cat back, intake, lighter pulley. But all that will cost you about $1500 and get you maybe 15 HP. If you want it a lot faster, you can buy a wrecked STI and transplant everything including all the wiring. Cost will be around $10000 to $12000. A lot of money but once you do this the power potential is unlimited. Plus you pay insurance for a 2.5i. I'm guessing if you had another 10 grand laying around you would have bought a WRX so my advice if forget about the power and work on the suspension. No matter how fast you make the car someone will be faster.
