thinking of buying an 09 rabbit. but before i buy i want to make sure that i have options as to increasing power. any suggestions???? and please dont tell me to save my money for an EVO or a WRX STI beacuse i dont have that kind of money for a $35000 dollar car. thats why im buying a $16,000 dollar car haha.

Get a GTI instead. It's not 35k it more like in the low 20's. Either that or strap a rocket onto your rabbit.
Reply:to make it a lot faster? no. you'll spend alot on a turbo or supercharger for it. you can get some gains with the normal stuff like an exhaust and CAI. if you were going vw, should have saved up a bit more and gone with a model that has the 2.0t
Reply:Just get a used car for $16K that will outperform the Rabbit. A used V6 Accord coupe would torch one(240 HP).
Reply:I know the car will be able to obtain any speed that is legal in the US. So if you want it faster you must be planning on using it stricktly for racing on the track right? That being said I would suggest that you rethink the car you are looking at buying to race. You should get a bigger budget for the race team and invest in a car better built for racing. I will say what that car is because you asked me not too.
