Ford transit mini bus?

i was looking on ebay today and was interested in this v reg ford transit mini bus.we need one as our family is extending and they are so much bigger than people carriers...ideal for family holidays and such...i think the reserve is about a grand, the body needs a little tender loving care, but it isnt that terrible...been out to look at it and it runs well, everything works as it should and all...really like it just dont know what to go up to with my bid...can anyone help me? thanks in advance

If it needs work, I'd say around 拢1000-拢1500 ( check out http://www.autotrader.co.uk for similar).


DON'T EVER buy a petrol, diesels are very rough but generally not too unreliable.


Bodies can rot horrendously: arches %26amp; doors a prime area.


I strongly suggest you try one before buying: if you do any distance, the noise is deafening: I've driven dozens %26amp; they're all the same.

There are loads out there, there all very loud esp at high speeds, there all prone to rust esp around the arches. Go for diesel, it may be be slighty louder but it'l be cheaper and have more grunt - if its diesel id give em about 拢1200 n thats about it.
Reply:price depends on the condition and also what it's worth to you really, if it's a good runner in decent nick i would bid up to 拢1,400.


also did you check the door steps and inner wings/suspension tops for rot ?


they are prone along with the arches and wouldn't be unusual on a V plate.
