Whats the firng order of an engine of a 1999 malibu 3.1L? i think number 3 is in the center back?

Whats the firng order of an engine of a 1999 malibu 3.1L? i think number 3 is in the center back?
Oh man, it is a V6 of course. Firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6 per Haynes. Locate cylinders, view engine from flywheel to tranny side. Left to right, or from flywheel to transmission, you're right, 1 -3- 5 are on the back, 2 -4- 6 on the front. I can't believe that other sites charge money to see this.

Most four cylinder cars have 1-3-4-2 firing order.


If cylinder 3 is mis-firing, check the spark plug. Clean or replace it. Check also the cable and distributor.
