You cannot use a stock harness with a b16 upgrade engine. The stock harness only applies to the original engine 1.6 liter. You must order the b16 harness and replace the whole thing.

yea then you will need a obd1 ecu and then rewire the vtec or you can just get a civic ex or si or vx 92-95 civic. but to run it will run lots of slicing and dicing
Reply:Whats up man, first i just wanna say I just got done putting a b16 a1 dohc first gen vtec engine into my 90 ls integra, and the wiring harness was pretty much all the same, b series is almost always b series.. sure some of the engine plugs are in a differant spot then the b18 but everything should work, Im pretty sure you engine is obd0, the way you can tell is if you look at your ecu and the plugs going into the ecu are that faded kinda clear yellow color and black then it's obd0 and if there grey then it's obd1, ok so once you get the vtec in, you dont need to get the obd1 ecu unless your wires are grey, or unless you want to convert your car to obd1 you can use a pr3 obd0 vtec ecu you can find them on ebay for 50 to however much your willing to spend, does your b16 have a distributor? you will need a b16 distrib,

Also can you look on you crx and by the map censor there should be a little black thing with hoses that go to your fuel manifold, then under your hood it should have a sticker that say's what it is, is it the regulator control solenoid valve or the purge cut solenoid valve, you can hit me up at born2bask8ter@yahoo.com
