No matter what you do to a bmw it is expensive, but the alternator is a fairly easy replacement. The most time and money will be spent on the AC.

If you take it to the dealer about an hour labour i bet. Belts Aus$ 80 for the drive belt and $ 38 for the A/C
If you mean the Alternator and the A/C commpressor big dollars $ 25000 Upwards

Who told you that both are gone.Can u right in detail,what went wrong.any short circuit or someone misused the car.

Reply:in my 2000 bmw 323 ci, i had those two things replaced about 6-7 months ago (roughly) and it cost me a little over 3k. :/
