if its automatic no point in turbo, an auto tranny cant handle that much boost or pressure, o and ya dude your car is a family car not a car made to be fast..
Reply:it'll handle low boost applications like sub 4psi. Just buy the biggest fattest turbo you can find and run as much boost as you want. That way you'll have to build an engine that will handle it very shortly afterwards.
Reply:I don't think it's a good idea. The engine internals are not made to handle that kind of added stress and neither is the tranny or the rest of the drive train. Many things need to be beefed up to handle it. I guess if money is no object, you could go ahead and do it. This question is probably better asked on some Honda forum though.
Reply:as said before...if its auto trans...dont bother..the trans is not made for that kinda power increase.

if you were to go with low boost ( 8 psi max) you could propably pull it off.

just for safe measures i would throw a head spacer on it to lower your compression ratio..plus you could then run 10 psi no problem.

ive seen hondas handle crazy boost...it just all depends on how well the person ran their setup

run and intercooler for sure..fuel injectors that will handle the demands off the increased air..a fpr..wideband 02 sensor and gauge..a decent wastegate and if your gonna use a blow off valve instead of a diverter valve make sure its atleast a duel spring so it doesnt leak

as long as you dont run lean..or run too much boost youll be fine!
Reply:If you are going to add turbo to any engine to any automobile. Be prepared to find out if the turbo is Legal in your State!!! You must have it checked by a ref and see if it will pass smog. Otherwise you are wasting your time installing a turbo if it is not allowed. If you can find a friend who can smog it illegally then do as you wish.
